Funding Research into Childhood Brain Tumours
Brain tumours are now the
biggest cancer killer of UK children
Please help us to make a
difference and find a cure
Ali's Dream was launched in June 2001 following the loss
of Alison Phelan three weeks before her eighth birthday. Horrified by
the lack of funding for research and the prospect that it is unlikely
that a cure will be found in the next five years, Alison's family and
friends set up the charity with the objective of raising funds for research
into childhood brain tumours.

The trustees have established a paediatric focused scientific and medical advisory board
and invite applications for funding via leaflet distribution at relevant
conferences and contacting known research units. The charity will fund
scientific, medical and patient / carer qualitative / quantitative research
in pursuit of their objectives.
